The 10th International Paderewski Piano Competition, Bydgoszcz, Poland

The Competition is organized to commemorate Ignacy Jan Paderewski, a remarkable pianist, virtuoso, composer, politician and statesman.
The Competition is organized under the Honorary Patronage of The President Of The Republic Of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
This piano competition is to honour Ignacy Jan Paderewski – a great Polish pianist, composer and politician. His achievements are very well known both in Europe and in the United States. The unquestionable success of previous editions of the competitions confirms the highest (five-star) position in the classification of the Alink-Argerich Foundation and a membership of the International Federation of Music Competitions in Geneva.
Inaugural concert took place on November 6th, 2016 in the Pomeranian Philharmonic. We have heard an excellent Pomeranian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Marek Pijarowski with soloist Alexander Gadijev, the 1st prize winner of the 9th International Hamamatsu Piano Competition.
The audition took place in the concert halls of the Nowowiejski Music Acadaemy (1st –3rd stage) and the Paderewski Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic (Final). The auditions was open to the public and transmit on Internet.
