French pianist born in Paris. Completed his studies at the Conservatoire Nationale Superieure de Musique in Paris with top honours. His teachers were Marguerite Long and Jacques Fevrier. Prize-winner of many awards: IV’h prize at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Grand Prix at the International Marguerite Long – Jacques Thibaut Competition in Paris, P1 Grand Prix at the International Competition of Rio de Janeiro and the Villa-Lobos, Special Prize for the interpretation of Brazilian music. He performes worldwide, in recitals and in concerts with the most celebrated orchestras of Paris, Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, Warsaw and under leading conductors. Participates in prestigious festivals, among others in Athens, Aix-en-Provence, Marienbad, Besancon, Duszniki-Zdrój. He was a Jury member at numerous international competitions e.g. Long in Paris, Chopin in Warsaw, Schumann in Zwickau, Bach in Leipzig, Schubert in Dortmund, Liszt in Weimar. Mr. Ringeissen teaches at C. N. R. in Rueil-Malmaison, and gives master classes at “Mozarteum” in Salzburg and at the International Summer Seminar in Weimar.
