PADEREWSKI COMPETITION

LAUREATES of the 11th International Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz

The Jury of the 11th International Paderewski Piano Competition awarded the following prizes:

First Prize was awarded to Philipp Lynov (Russia),

Second Prize went to Kamil Pacholec (Poland)

Third Prize was given to Yasuko Furumi (Japan),

Honorable mentions were given to:

Saetbyeol Kim (Rep. Of Korea)

Sergey Belawsky (Russia).

The competition concluded with Winners’ Concerts at the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.

Jury awarded the following special prizes:

a) 1000 Euro – for the best performance of Paderewski’s compositions – Belyavsky Sergey, Kim Seatbyeol

b) 1 000 Euro – for the best performance of W. A. Mozart piano concerto – Pacholec Kamil

c) 1 000 Euro – for the best performance of Semi-final recital – Belyavsky Sergey

d) 1 000 Euro – for the best Polish participant qualified to the Semi-final – Pacholec Kamil

e) 1 000 Euro –  for the best performance of Chopin’s compositions, Jerzy Kolanowski Special Prize – Pacholec Kamil

g) 3000 CHF –  Paderewski Prize, Geneva – Belyavsky Sergey
